The price of housing in Frankfort has dropped the least of 200 Chicago suburban communities in the past year, according to an article on the Village's website.

The price of housing in Frankfort has dropped less than 200 Chicago suburban communities in the past year, village officials report.
Mary Canino, village communications director, commented on the April 2013 article in Chicago Magazine—Real Estate 2013: Where to Buy Now.
"While most suburban areas showed double digit negative changes since 2006, Frankfort was the lone single digit suburb on the list with only a -9.6% change. In second place was Hinsdale with a -12.8% change since 2006," she said.
