FRANKFORT, IL — The Splash Park located at Commissioners park remains under renovation. It is anticipated that the project will be completed at the end of May and be ready for summer use.

The spray equipment at the splash pad is being replaced and a water filtration system is being added. The new system is an upgrade as the old system was a drain to waste system that utilized well water. The new system will have treated water like a swimming pool which will increase the water quality and temperature.

Updates on the opening will be provided on social media and on the Frankfort Park District’s website.
