Golf for Good: Crisis Center Outing Benefits Domestic Violence Victims

Proceeds go to Crisis Center for South Suburbia, an essential resource for victims of domestic violence in the south suburbs. Spots limited.

FRANKFORT, IL — Golf enthusiasts are invited to hit the links for a good cause this May at a fundraiser benefitting an organization that provides resources and support for victims of domestic violence.

The Crisis Center for South Suburbia will host its third annual Crisis Center Classic golf outing on Monday, May 20, at Prestwick Country Club in Frankfort. The day will feature 18 holes of golf, course contests, raffles, silent auctions and dinner, all to raise funds for programs that support victims of domestic violence.

Golfers and attendees will have the opportunity to interact with prominent community and business leaders from across Chicagoland at one of the area’s most prestigious private clubs.

"According to early reports, fatalities in Illinois tied to domestic violence in 2023 has
doubled since 2022," said Crisis Center's Executive Director, Pamela Kostecki. "This is
unacceptable and something we must act to impact.

“The Crisis Center has committed to double our community education and outreach efforts to
ensure that more people than ever before are educated on how to find safety if they are
experiencing domestic violence.”
