Movie On The Green Planned For June 11

FRANKFORT, IL — One of several events offered this summer in Frankfort, the Movies on the Green series will kick off on June 11.

The first of three movies, a showing of "Super Mario Bros.", will begin at 8:15 p.m. on June 11 on Breidert Green.

If the weather is rainy, the movie has a rain date of June 18. The Movies on the Green events are co-sponsored by the Frankfort Park District, Frankfort Chamber of Commerce and the Village of Frankfort.

Free popcorn is also sponsored by the Knights of Columbus, Kiwanis Club of Frankfort and the Frankfort Lions Club.

Two other movies are also planned for this summer:

• July 9, "Encanto"
• Aug. 13, "The Mighty Ducks"
