New Lenox Man Arrested For Resisting Officer: Frankfort Police

FRANKFORT, IL — The following information is from the Frankfort Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

DUI

Meredith L. Roat, 48, of the 2700 block of Schooner Drive, New Lenox, was cited for driving under the influence, speeding and improper lane use during a traffic stop at around 11 p.m. Nov. 8 at LaGrange Road and Lincoln Highway. Her next court date is Dec. 1.

Obstructing Justice

Anthony G. Ortega, 25, of the 600 block of Bobwhite Lane, New Lenox, was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of resisting an officer during an incident at around 9:33 p.m. Nov. 10 in teh 21200 block of LaGrange Road. He was taken to Will County Jail.

Driving Without Insurance

Jose G. Herrera, 23, of the 10700 block of South Mackinaw Avenue, Chicago, was cited for driving with an obstructed windshield, driving without insurance and driving without insurance during a traffic stop at around 2:56 p.m. Nov. 10 at Hunter Woods Drive and Lincoln Highway. His next court date is Dec. 6.

Driving With Suspended License

Paul A. Bidne, 41, of the 900 block of Murphy Drive, Joliet, was cited for driving with a suspended license and improper lane use during a traffic stop at around 11:25 p.m. Nov. 11 at Sauk Trail and 80th Avenue. His next court date is Dec. 5.

Driving With Suspended License

Anthony L. Dodson, 29, of the 400 block of West 34th Street, Steger, was cited for driving with a suspended license during a traffic stop at around 12:15 p.m. Nov. 13. His next court date is Dec. 5.
