Phillips Chevrolet In Frankfort Donates $1K To Franciscan Sisters

FRANKFORT, IL — Phillips Chevrolet President Curtis Pascarella and Vice President Donna Pascarella recently presented a check in the amount of $1,000 to General Community Leader Sister Joyce Shanabarger of Franciscan Sisters of the Sacred Heart in Frankfort, according to a news release from Phillips Chevrolet.

Curtis Pascarella was nominated in December for the 2022 TIME Dealer of the Year Award. Ally, the exclusive sponsor of the award, gave $1,000 to the nominees to go toward the charity of their choice.

"The Franciscan Sisters do so much good for both our local community and around the world," Pascarella said. "We’re delighted to help advance their mission of caring for the less fortunate."

The funds will help the Franciscan Sisters in their work in health care, education, parish ministry, diocesan ministry, retreat ministry, bodywork and ministry among the poor, according to the release. The funds will also support the Franciscan Foundation, which helps support the work of nonprofit organizations in the United States that reach out to the poor around the world through health, education and social services.

Phillips supports a wide range of fundraising efforts and organizations, including: Franciscan Sisters of the Sacred Heart, the Children's Heart Foundation, American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, Toys for Tots, National FFA scholarships, Anthony Rizzo Family Foundation and others. They also hold food drives, blood drives and coat drives at the dealership.

"Phillips Chevrolet in Frankfort, Lansing and Bradley are commitment to giving back to the communities they serve," the release stated.

Phillips Chevrolet in Frankfort, located at 9700 W. Lincoln Highway, also has locations in Lansing and Bradley.
