Phillips Chevrolet Of Frankfort Owner Elected To BBB Board

FRANKFORT, IL — Phillips Chevrolet Owner and President Curtis Pascarella was elected March 24 to the Better Business Bureau of Chicago and Northern Illinois Board of Directors. Pascarella was one of four people selected during the BBB of Chicago and Northern Illinois' 95th annual meeting to serve on the board, according to a news release from the BBB.

"I am honored to be elected to the Chicago and Northern Illinois Better Business Bureau Board of Directors," Pascarella told Patch via email. "As a car dealer, our dealership group is driven to change the unfavorable perception of our business, and promote and practice the BBB high ethical standards of trust, honesty and integrity."

In addition to Pascarella, the BBB of Chicago and Northern Illinois also chose for its Board: Mary Sandberg Boyle, vice president and general manager of WGN Radio in Chicago; Anthony Jacob, partner and commercial transaction practice group leader of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP in Chicago; and Maria Pergolino, chief marketing office of ActiveCampaign in Chicago, according to the BBB. Board members serve a three-year term.

Pascarella's selection to serve on the BBB Board is just the latest in a string of accomplishments for Phillips Chevrolet over the past six months. In November, the dealership made a $10,000 donation to the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer initiative. The following month, Phillips Chevrolet was nominated for the TIME Dealer of the Year Award. In February, it was awarded the DealerRater Dealer of the Year for Chevrolet. And just last month, Phillips Chevrolet donated $1,000 to the Franciscan Sisters of the Sacred Heart in Frankfort.

In addition to being a second-generation owner of Phillips Chevrolet of Frankfort, Pascarella is the owner of auto dealerships Phillips Chevrolet of Lansing and Phillips Auto Group of Bradley. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Illinois Auto Dealers Association, according to the BBB.
