Planet Fitness Now Open In Frankfort

FRANKFORT, IL — Planet Fitness has opened its doors to its Frankfort location, and celebrated with a grand opening on Jan. 31.

The new gym, at 20825 S. La Grange Road, is next to the Subway and Starbucks. As a special promotion, you can join the gym for $1 down, and then the monthly fee.

The gym is open 24 hours a day during the week; and closes at 10 p.m. on Friday. Hours on the weekend are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and then 7 a.m. to midnight on Sunday.

The Village Board approved special use permits for the business back in June. The gym facility has weight training, a wellness pod, tanning beds, red light therapy and automated massage chairs, according to Board documents.
