FRANKFORT, IL — A Frankfort animal rescue is asking for the public's help in finding a recently adopted dog who escaped its harness just a day after being sent to its new home.

The 7-year-old Chihuahua, named Justice, was adopted Saturday, April 22, and slipped out of his harness at Walnut and Utah streets in downtown Frankfort on Sunday, rescue staff told Patch.

He was last seen Monday at 6 p.m. in Frankfort, but is believed to have been heading west, "so he could be anywhere at this time."
