Stolen Credit Card Used In Lincoln-Way Shopping Spree: Cops
Frankfort police want help identifying the man accused of using the credit card after he allegedly stole it from a purse last week.

FRANKFORT, IL — Investigators need help identifying a suspect accused of stealing a woman's credit card and going on a Lincoln-Way shopping spree along Route 30 last week, according to the Frankfort Police Department. Images of the alleged offender were taken from security camera video footage and released by police in an online alert Friday.
According to police, the man allegedly broke in to a vehicle Jan. 8 near LaGrange Road and Lincoln Highway and took a woman's purse that was inside. The man then is accused of driving a Dodge Caliber to a Speedway station near Wolf Road, 11151 W. Lincoln Hwy., where he used the victim's credit card to buy gas, police said.
Following the service station visit, the suspect is accused of going to the nearby Meijer in Mokena, 11305 W. Lincoln Hwy., and Walmart in New Lenox, 501 E. Lincoln Hwy., according to the online police alert. The items purchased with the stolen credit and their total cost were not released by police.
