2025 Geneva Steeple Walk: 20-Minute Concerts Planned At 4 Historic Churches

The Steeple Walk is returning the same weekend as the Christmas Walk and Holiday House Tour.

GENEVA, IL — First held in 2004, the Steeple Walk has become a staple of the winter season in Geneva. This year, it will return on Dec. 7.

From 2-4:10 p.m. that Sunday, participants will visit the First Church of Christ, Scientist; Geneva Lutheran Church; United Methodist Church of Geneva; and the Unitarian Universalist Society of Geneva. They'll hear 20-minute musical performances at each.

Performers will include The Hogmires, Zazz Jazz, Genuine Brass and Batavia High School's The Chromatics.

Concertgoers will be split into two groups, with one beginning the walk at the United Methodist Church of Geneva and the other at the Geneva Lutheran Church. Musicians will perform their repertoires twice to allow all guests to hear each show.

Tickets purchased by Nov. 25 will cost $18, and the price will increase to $20 starting the following day. Tickets are sold by the nonprofit Geneva Foundation for the Arts, which organizes the event.

The Steeple Walk will take place on the same weekend as the Christmas Walk and Holiday House Tour. The Christmas Walk will begin at 6 p.m. Dec. 5, and the house tour will run from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Dec. 5 and again from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. the following day.
