Christmas Tree Pickup Scheduled In Geneva: See When

Residents will have a few options to easily dispose of their Christmas trees after the holiday.

GENEVA, IL — Geneva residents will have a few opportunities to get rid of their Christmas trees for free after the holiday.

During the weeks of Dec. 29 and Jan. 5, residents can discard their Christmas trees without attaching any waste stickers for LRS, the city's waste hauler, to pick up on regular collection days.

After the first two weeks of the new year, one sticker will be required.
