Hi everyone! I’m Bullet! My owner was a young man who trained me to hunt. Unfortunately, they have had a life change and have asked Safe Haven Dog Rescue to find me a new forever home.

In my first home, they mainly kept me as an outside dog in a pen and focused on hunting. Now that I'm in a foster home, I do tree squirrels and chase rabbits, but my foster family hasn't seen a strong hunting drive. In fact, I'm starting to learn that it's nice to hang out and sleep inside a home! I’m neutered, up to date on all my vaccines, and healthy as a horse. I'm pretty happy now that I've retired from my hunting job.

I really haven't had a chance to just be a "dog" and now that I'm in my foster home, I'm learning what it's like. I eat inside, I go in my crate without any issue, and I LOVE to play with the other dog in my foster home. We run and wrestle, and have the best time. I also started going to something they call Doggie Day Care" and have had the best time playing and chilling with all the other dogs and puppies! Even more exciting, we go there in the CAR, which I LOVE!
