Car Smashes Into American Science And Surplus Store: Business
The crash happened Monday afternoon at the store in unincorporated Kane County, near Geneva.
GENEVA, IL — A car crashed through the window of the American Science and Surplus store Monday afternoon, according to a post from the business.
American Science and Surplus, located at 33W361 Roosevelt Road in unincorporated Kane County, near Geneva, shared photos on Facebook just before 2 p.m. Monday showing the car at rest in the corner of the store, glass shattered and merchandise knocked over around it.
"We just want to let everyone know, everyone is OKAY!" the store wrote. "It was very scary. We will pick up the pieces and get back to 'normal.'"

The driver put the vehicle into drive instead of reverse by mistake and crashed into the store, according to a report from CBS News. Authorities said there were no indications the driver, who had three children in the car, was impaired.
