Cop On A Rooftop Event Coming To Geneva

GENEVA, IL — Geneva police will be participating in an upcoming Cop on a Rooftop event Friday.

The event, happening from 5 a.m. to noon at Dunkin’, 206 E. State St. will help raise money for Special Olympics via the Law Enforcement Torch Run, a collaborative effort from police departments across the nation.

Officers will be selling mugs, shirts, hats, pins and Harley Davidson raffle tickets. All customers who donate will receive a free doughnut coupon, and those who give at least $10 will receive a travel mug, while supplies last, and a coupon for a free medium coffee.

Those who aren’t able to attend but want to donate can do so on the Cop on a Rooftop website. Geneva police advised that ahen filling out the information, people can enter "Geneva Police Department" to credit their fundraiser.
