GENEVA, IL — The first baby of 2025 was born on New Year's Day at Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital in Geneva.

Daniel Sosa, Jr. was born at 12:42 p.m. Jan. 1 to parents Nayelly Valdez & Daniel Sosa, of Aurora.

The baby boy weighed 6 pounds and 6 ounces and was 19.5 inches long.
