Geneva Arts Fair Returns To Third Street For 2-Day Festival

The juried fine arts show has drawn talent and crowds from across the country for more than 20 years, the Geneva Chamber said.

GENEVA, IL — The Geneva Arts Fair, dubbed one of Fox Valley's premier art festivals, is returning to Third Street July 26-27.

The open-air fair will be held daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visitors will have the chance to meet artists, learn about their inspirations and purchase artwork in mediums including painting, sculpture, photography, ceramics and glass.

The juried fine arts show has drawn talent and crowds from across the country for more than 20 years, according to a news release from the Geneva Chamber of Commerce. The event is presented by the City of Geneva and Kane County Magazine.

Fest-goers will be able to visit the Arts Garden, a floral installation at Third and Franklin streets brought to life by the Elburn-based Plandscape Inc., and hear live music daily from noon to 2 p.m. Children's art activities will start at 11 a.m.

"The fair offers a charming open-air setting surrounded by historic architecture, boutique shops, and restaurants, in a storybook town setting," the Chamber wrote in a news release. "The Geneva Arts Fair has consistently earned top accolades from artfaircalendar.com and Sunshine Artist magazine, making it a must-visit for art lovers."
