Geneva Finance Department To Temporarily Close For Staff Training
All other city facilities will remain open while the Finance Department is closed for training.

GENEVA, IL — The Geneva Finance Department will close June 20 as city staff participate in software training.
City officials issued a news release to forewarn customers that they won't be able to drop off checks or come ask questions in person during the day. Instead, payments can be made online, sent in the mail or deposited in dropboxes at City Hall, the Finance Department and both Geneva fire stations.
Payments can also be made over the phone, at 877-875-2709, using the city's interactive voice response system. Customers wanting to start or stop a utility can complete a form online.

All other city facilities will remain open June 20. The Finance Department will resume normal business operations the following day.
