Geneva Looks To Fill Vacancies On Strategic Plan Advisory Committee

The city is looking to appoint two dedicated volunteers to fill vacancies on the committee.

GENEVA, IL — The city is looking for dedicated volunteers to fill two vacancies on the Strategic Plan Advisory Committee.

The committee is tasked with prioritizing community goals outlined in the city's strategic plan, encouraging residents' input and assisting with goal implementation. Members meet at 6:30 p.m. on the third Wednesday of each month.

Residents interested in the role can submit an application online with a letter of interest by 4:30 p.m. Dec. 20. To qualify, candidates must live within the city's corporate boundary limits.

Applications will be reviewed by Mayor Kevin Burns, and nominations will be put before the City Council for approval.
