Geneva Steeple Walk 2024: 4 Churches, Performance Groups Chosen

The Steeple Walk will take place at four historic downtown Geneva churches, with each hosting a 20-minute musical performance.

GENEVA, IL — This winter's Steeple Walk will return Dec. 8, taking concertgoers to four historic downtown Geneva churches, each hosting a 20-minute musical performance.

From 2-4:10 p.m. that Sunday, participants will visit the First Church of Christ, Scientist, Geneva Lutheran Church, United Methodist Church of Geneva, and the Unitarian Universalist Society of Geneva.

Concertgoers will be split into two groups, one beginning at the United Methodist Church of Geneva and the other at Geneva Lutheran Church. Musicians will perform their repertoires twice, making sure everyone hears all four pieces.

Performers will include Classic Christmas Duo — comprised of vocalist Diva Montell and guitarist Dave Gans — Genuine Brass, Take Note Quartet and Wild Blue Ukelele Orchestra.

Tickets purchased by Nov. 25 will cost $18, and the price will increase to $20 starting the following day. Tickets are sold on the Geneva Foundation for the Arts website.

The Steeple Walk is happening the same weekend as the Christmas Walk and Holiday House Tour. The annual Christmas Walk will kick off at 6 p.m. Dec. 6, and the house tour will run from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Dec. 6 and again from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 7.
