An Hour-by-Hour Look at the Rising Temps in Geneva

The extreme heat will start Thursday with temps expected to climb Friday and Saturday.

GENEVA, IL — It's going to be hot, hot, hot in Geneva and across the Chicago areain the coming days. Officials are reminding residents, as the heat starts to set in, to stay safe, hydrated and in the comfort of their air-conditioned homes, offices or elsewhere. The hottest conditions are expected Friday and Saturday across the region with the temps steadily expected to climb starting today (Thursday, July 18).

High temps will reach between 90 and 100 degrees in the Chicago area. A head warning has been issued for Kane County with the heat index expected to reach between 100 and 110 degrees.
