Infrastructure Survey Work Underway On Anderson Boulevard

GENEVA, IL — Survey work is underway on Anderson Boulevard this week, Geneva officials said.

HLR, the city's contractor, is surveying water infrastructure on the Geneva thoroughfare the week of June 24. Staff are collecting information on existing utilities and structures as part of a future water main and service replacement project, according to a news release.

No construction activities will be taking place during the survey work. Officials said the survey will be incorporated into the engineering design in 2025, with construction slated for 2026 or possibly 2027.

Officials are directing residents with questions to the Geneva Public Works Department's water division at 630-232-1551.
