James Moseley, Co-Founder of Geneva High All Sports Booster Club, Dies

The 84-year-old was a summer league baseball coach and an avid Geneva Vikings fan.

James Moseley, co-founder of the Geneva High School All Sports Booster Club, died last week.

Moseley, of Geneva, died on Aug. 6. He was a U.S. Navy Army veteran and retired after a career as a plumber and employee at Burgess Norton Manufacturing in Geneva, according to his obituary.

The city of Geneva announced last week it would lower its flags in memory of Moseley and have a moment of silence during an Aug. 10 committee of a whole meeting to remember the local man.

“Jim was known for his sense of humor and loving heart,” according to his obituary.
