Kane County SWAT Training Scheduled At Geneva Residence
The training at a Geneva residence will focus on a potential SWAT response to an emergency situation.

GENEVA, IL — The Kane County SWAT Team will conduct a training exercise July 29 at a residence in Geneva.
Beginning at 7 a.m., the team will train to respond to a potential emergency using a residence in the 500 block of Mead Court, the Geneva Police Department said in a news release.
The training is not expected to disrupt the surrounding neighbors — no sirens will be activated and no live weapons will be fired.

Signage will be posted in the driveway of the residence, and safety officers will be on site throughout the day. The exercise should be over by 3 p.m.
"The Kane County Sheriff’s Office and Geneva Police Department appreciate the public’s understanding as officers participate in this important training," officials said.
