The Western Avenue and Delnor substations lost power around 9 p.m. Tuesday and had it brought back online around 1:14 a.m., officials said. ComEd is investigating what caused their feeder line, which may be outside city limits, to drop to the substations.

Geneva staff estimated between 60 to 100 trees, both on parkways and private property, were knocked down during Monday night's storm. The Tuesday night storm damaged an additional six trees overnight.
