Power Restored After Outage On Geneva's West Side
Power went out to a substation that serves customers in the Pepper Valley and Randall Square subdivisions.

GENEVA, IL — Power was restored to Geneva's West Side at about 2:20 p.m. Wednesday after an outage less than half an hour earlier, city officials said.
The power to the city's South Street substation, which serves customers in the Pepper Valley and Randall Square subdivisions, went out at about 1:45 p.m.
The initial investigation suggested a contractor may have inadvertently struck an underground electric cable that caused the outage, according to an update from the city.
