Reflective Markers To Be Installed On 130 Miles Of County Road
Kane County's project to installing recessed reflective pavement markers includes a Geneva road.
GENEVA, IL — Recessed reflective pavement markers will be installed on more than 130 miles of county highway, including in Geneva, beginning the week of April 14.
The lone project location in Geneva is on Keslinger Road from Randall Road west of the county line, city officials said.
Kane County is installing the makers to increase the visibility of lane lines. Work will begin on the north side of the county and continue south. The majority of the work is expected to be completed by the end of June, and a few locations will be finished in the fall, officials said.

Temporary lane closures will be required daily from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday across Kane County. Flaggers will be in place to direct drivers around crews.
