Renowned Hip-Hop Artists To Perform At Geneva Tacos And Tequila Festival

Several world-renowned throwback hip-hop artists are performing at a day-long festival in Geneva.

GENEVA, IL — A late-September Saturday in Geneva will be all about tacos, tequila and old-school hip hop.

The Tacos and Tequila Festival is set for Sept. 20 at Northwestern Medicine Field, the home of the Kane County Cougars. World-renowned hip-hop artists — including Ludacris, Timbaland and Trina — will perform while chef-inspired tacos and craft margaritas will be served.

The day-long event will also feature tequila shot bars, an exotic car showcase, a wrestling match, a chihuahua beauty pageant, and a salsa and queso competition.

Before coming to the Chicago area, the festival occurs in Omaha and Milwaukee, then moves on to Cleveland and Cincinnati.

Tickets in Geneva start at $102, including tax and fees, for general admission and $210 for VIP admission.

General admission gates will open at 2 p.m., and VIP entry starts at 1:30 p.m. The festival will end at 11 p.m.
