2 Brothers Accused Of Possessing Child Pornography In Glendale Heights

GLENDALE HEIGHTS, IL — Two brothers from Glendale Heights are accused of possessing child pornography.

Kevin Alvidrez, 28, and Daniel Alvidrez, 23, both of the 1200 block of Pearl Avenue, were charged with distribution and possession of child pornography, following what police called an "extensive child pornography investigation."

Police say the investigation yielded "probable cause" to execute a search warrant of the brothers' home on May 15. During the search, police seized computers, cellphones and tablets, which investigators reported as containing videos and photographs of child pornography.

Both Alvidrez brothers were arrested and taken to DuPage County Jail, where Kevin Alvidrez is being held. Daniel Alvidrez was granted pretrial release, according to the Glendale Heights Police Department.
