GLEN ELLYN, IL — The Glen Ellyn Park District is looking for artists to pitch mural ideas for the outside wall of a building at Sunset Pool. The mural will adorn the Gators Swim Team office, near the newly opened children's wading pool. "The subject matter of the mural and public art must be child-friendly, vivid in colors, playful in scope and something that encompasses the spirit of Sunset Pool, the Park District and the Village of Glen Ellyn," per the park district's request for proposals. The mural will span 350 square feet of cinder block. Proposals will be accepted through July 31.
