GLEN ELLYN, IL — Pedestrian access to part of Main Street will be limited starting Jan. 2 as construction continues on the Apex 400 development in Glen Ellyn. Underground utility work and sidewalk improvements related to the project will temporarily close the walkway that leads from the Main Street parking garage to the sidewalk on Main Street.

Cars will still be able to access Main Street during the walkway closure. Pedestrians and drivers can enter the Main Street parking garage via Glenwood Avenue during the construction.

Officials anticipate pedestrian access to this area will resume by Feb. 15, if weather permits.
