Holiday Light Contest Underway In Glen Ellyn

Residents have until Dec. 15 to register their home for the village's 2024 Holiday Lights Contest.

GLEN ELLYN, IL — Residents have through Dec. 15 to register to complete in Glen Ellyn's 2024 Holiday Light Contest.

This year, homes will be decked out in lights and decor to vie for glory in these categories:

  • Best Overall
  • Most Traditional
  • Most Whimsical

And, of course, there is the coveted Clark Griswold Award for the most over-the-top display of holiday dazzle.

Homes that are entered in the contest will be designated by a lawn sign. A map will be available on the Village of Glen Ellyn website showing each home's location.

Voting is set to conclude Dec. 22, with the winners revealed on Dec. 23. Click the link to register for the Glen Ellyn Holiday Light Show.
