Tim is a local Lombard resident and Retired US Army Special Operations veteran looking to bring lifesaving training to organizations and individuals across a diverse range of clientele. Immediate Response Training, LLC is a Licensed Training Provider of The American Red Cross (ARC), an Authorized Training Center with Health and Safety Institute (HSI) a Recognized Education Partner of the Committee on Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (C-TECC) and a Certifying Partner with the American College of Surgeons "Stop The Bleed" program. - First Aid/CPR/AED All Ages (Adult, Child, Infant) - OSHA 10 - OSHA 30 - Workplace Safety - Bloodborne Pathogens - Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) Active Bystander and First Responder - Child and Baby Sitting IRT offers custom first aid/ trauma kits and equipment, portable and wall mounted AEDs, tailored emergency response planning and more. IRT's Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) for First Responders with a Duty to Act 4-hour and 8-hour courses are both ILETSB certified courses to meet the Illinois state mandate for Emergency Medical Training under the SAFE-T Act.

Luckily, there are several places throughout Glen Ellyn to recycle holiday lights in 2024, starting Nov. 25. If you're planning to recycle your defunct lights, keep in mind that only the following types of lights and items will be accepted: <ul><li>C7 lights</li><li>C9 lights</li><li>Extension cords</li><li>LED lights</li><li>Mini (Italian) lights</li><li>Rope lights</li></ul> The following locations will accept the above items for recycling:<ul><li>Ackerman Sports and Fitness Center, 800 St. Charles Rd.</li><li>Main Street Recreation Center, 501 Hill Ave.</li><li>Spring Avenue Recreation Center, 185 Spring Ave.</li><li>Dr. Frank Johnson Center, 490 Kenilworth Ave. </li></ul> Residents can recycle holiday lights through Jan. 26, when the program ends for the 2024-25 season.
