Murder Victim Identified In Unincorporated Lombard Shooting
Authorities have shared the name of a man who was found shot to death in a car in unincorporated Lombard Monday.
UNINCORPORATED LOMBARD, IL — The victim of an apparent murder in unincorporated Lombard has been identified as Alla Ghnamat, 38, according to the DuPage County Sheriff's Office.
Ghnamat was found dead with a gunshot wound inside a car that was parked in a driveway near the intersection of 16th Street and Meyers Road around 9:30 p.m.
WGN reports that Ghnamat's son was on the phone with him during the fatal shooting.

As of Wednesday afternoon, no suspects were in custody and the man's identity had not been released. The murder is being investigated by DuPage County Sheriff's Office. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the sheriff's office's detective unit at 630-407-2343.
