GLEN ELLYN, IL — Crews are set to begin repaving the Glenwood-Crescent parking lot on Oct. 27. The lot will be closed during the repaving work, but the village said in an update that the revamped lot will be a "refreshed and more welcoming downtown space." The update said the lot's construction work continues to be "right on schedule." Recent work has included putting in an irrigation system. Once the repaving is complete, 25 trees will be added, along with "decorative" light poles and brick pavers Come springtime, perennial flowers will be planted.
