Taste Of Glen Ellyn Kicks Off Thursday: What To Know

GLEN ELLYN, IL — It's time again for carnival rides, live tunes and an assortment of tasty foods as the 2024 Taste of Glen Ellyn kicks off Thursday.

The three-day festival runs through Aug. 17, with daily hours and music lineups as follows.

Aug. 15

Carnival rides, festival hours: 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

6 p.m.: Cheap Monarchy

8 p.m.: Hi Infidelity

Aug. 16

Carnival rides, festival hours: 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

6 p.m.: Bad Medicine

8 p.m.: Libido Funk Circus

Aug. 17

Carnival rides, festival hours: 12 p.m. to 10 p.m.

12 p.m.: School of Rock

3 p.m.: Vital Signs

5:30 p.m.: Sealed with a Kiss

8 p.m.: 7th Heaven

Festival admission is free, but there's a charge to ride carnival rides and buy food.

More than a dozen rides will be at the festival, including the Ferris wheel, the Zipper and the Freak Out. Unlimited rides are $30 per person Thursday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Prime-time unlimited ride specials are also available for $35 per person each day on Friday and Saturday from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
