2 Home Burglaries Net More Than $80K in Items: Cops

2 Residential Burglaries

More than $80,000 in items were taken Nov. 18 from two homes along Keenan Lane, according to Glenview police reports. In both cases, entry was gained by shattering the rear sliding doors, the report stated.

A resident of the 3500 block of Keenan Lane reported the burglary occurred between 9 a.m. and noon Nov. 18, and the estimated loss of property was $80,000.00.

A resident of the 3400 block of Keenan Lane reported the burglary happened between 9 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Nov. 18, and the estimated loss of property was $1,500.

$300 Stolen

A resident of the 1200 block of Castle Drive reported $300 in cash was taken from the house Nov. 18.

Package Taken

A delivery package containing $250 worth of jewelry was taken between 2 p.m. Nov. 13, and noon Nov. 14, from from the front porch of the 1500 block of Saratoga Lane. The report was made to police Nov. 20.

Stolen Park District Computer

An employee of A personal computer was stolen Nov. 24, from the Glenview Park District’s Park Center, 2400 Chestnut Ave. The estimated loss was $3,500.
