210 Coronavirus Cases Reported In Glenview

A total of 210 cases of coronavirus were reported in Glenview as of Monday, the village announced via Facebook.

GLENVIEW, IL — The number of reported cases of coronavirus in Glenview stands at 210 as of Monday, the village announced in an e-newsletter. Throughout this pandemic, the village has been contact with its senior housing facilities to make sure its most vulnerable residents are protected, the letter read.

Village staff are working with administrators to make sure they've been following guidelines set by the CDC, the Illinois Department of Public Health and the Cook County Department of Public Health. However, IDPH has reported many confirmed cases of coronavirus in Glenview nursing homes and a handful of coronavirus-related deaths.

IDPH reported 24 confirmed coronavirus cases and seven coronavirus-related deaths at Glenview Terrace, six confirmed cases and two deaths at Emerald Place, five confirmed cases at Vi at the Glen and two confirmed cases at Belmont Village Senior Living.
