Backpack, Other Items Worth More Than $2K Stolen From Vehicle: Cops

Unlocked Parked Vehicle Burglarized

About $635 in undisclosed items were reported stolen sometime between 7 and 7:45 p.m. Nov. 26, from an unlocked parked vehicle in the lot of a business in the 2100 block of Willow Road. The estimated loss is $635.00.

More Than $2,000 in Items Stolen From Vehicle

A backpack and other belongings estimated at more than $2,000 were reported stolen sometime between 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. Nov. 30, from a parked vehicle near a business in the 2100 block of Willow Road.

Driving Under the Influence

Eugeniusz Bursakowski, 57, of the 300 block of Berkshire Lane, Des Plaines, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and improper lane use after a Dec. 4 traffic stop in the 900 block of Rolling Pass Avenue. He was released on a $1,000 bond, and his court date is Dec. 29.
