GBS Graduate Set To Receive PHD At Iowa State University

Kiran Boyer Digavalli, of Glenview, is scheduled to receive his Ph.D. in aerospace engineering from Iowa State University in April of 2026. Digavalli's research is in the field of de-icing and anti-icing technologies in aerospace. He is a graduate of GBS (Class of 2017) and Carleton College (BS in Physics, Class of 2022).

Ellie Pavletich Performs In Carthage Christmas Festival

Ellie Pavletich, of Glenview, participated in the 151st Christmas Festival at Carthage College in the magnificent A. F. Siebert Chapel in Kenosha, Wis. Pavletich is a member of Carthage Treble Choir. The Carthage Christmas Festival is one of the largest and most beloved events on campus, bringing together over 3,500 people throughout the festival weekend. The Christmas Festival artistic staff includes Professors Margaret Burk as Artistic Director and Matthew Hougland as Production Director.

Local Students Named To Fall 2025 Dean's List At Belmont University

Belmont University released the Dean's List for the fall 2025 semester, with approximately 55 percent of the University's 6,934 undergraduate students qualifying for the list. Dean's List eligibility is based on a minimum course load of 12 hours and a quality grade point average of 3.5 with no grade below a C. Students from Glenview named to the list include:
