Coronavirus: Glenview Deaths Up To 17
A total of 17 coronavirus-related deaths have been reported in Glenview as of Wednesday.
GLENVIEW, IL — The Cook County Medical Examiner is reporting 17 coronavirus-related deaths in Glenview as of Wednesday, according to an e-newsletter from the village. The number of reported cases of the virus in Glenview is 225. These numbers are provisional and subject to change and data for some variables may be incomplete since cases are still under investigation, according to the newsletter.
Glenview was one of the first Chicago suburbs to issue a supplemental order requiring the use of face coverings in certain public areas to reduce the spread of the virus. The other municipalities that have this order include Niles, Highland Park, Wilmette, Evanston, Oak Lawn, Cicero, Northbrook, Morton Grove, Deerfield, Oak Brook and Skokie. Other cities are exploring this option.
