GBS Alum Olivia Smoliga Makes U.S. National Swim Team

Glenbrook South 2013 graduate Olivia Smoliga has made the U.S. National Swim Team, according to the school paper at the University of Georgia, where she is now a student.

Two years ago, she finished fourth in the Olympic tryouts in the women’s 100-meter backstroke. Soon thereafter, she broke the national record in both 50-yard freestyle and the 100-yard backstroke during a state meet.
