Glenview Man Charged With Assaulting Police Officer

The following reports were provided by the Glenview Police Department. Arrests and charges are accusations and do not indicate guilt.

Aggravated Assault to a Police Officer

On April 6, Dimitre Dragoytchev, 51, of Glenview, was arrested on the 2500 block of Pick Drive and charged with Aggravated Assault to a Police Officer and Resisting Arrest, according to police. He was released on bond and his court date was set for May 15, police say.

Drinking in Public

On April 3, Ryan Riehm, 23, of Glenview, and Bijan Ganjani, 24, of Skokie, were cited under village ordinance for Drinking in Public on the 2100 block of Ammer Ridge Court, according to police.

Disorderly Conduct

On April 6, someone reported a man, wearing a gray t-shirt and no pants, exited a dark green vehicle and exposed his genitals, according to police. The incident occurred on the 2700 block of Aviator Lane, during the evening, police say. The male was not located, according to the report.

DUI

On April 5, Patrick Minx, 62, of Glenview, was arrested on the 1600 block of Patriot Boulevard and charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Driving Without Lights when Required, according to police. He was released on bond.

On April 1, William Reis, 27, of Glenview, was arrested on the 1000 block of Elm Street and charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, Illegal Transportation of Alcohol and Disobeyed Stop Sign, according to police. He was released on bond.

Battery

On April 5, Peter Saverino, 49, of Glenview, was arrested on the 1200 block of Depot Street and charged with Domestic Battery, police say. He was transported to court on April 6 for a bond hearing.

On April 3, Michael Dobrowski, 23, of Glenview, was arrested on the 700 block of Chatham Road and charged with Battery, according to police. The charge is related to an incident that occurred on the 1700 block of Waukegan Rd. shortly before the arrest, police say.

Warrant

On April 7, Ryan Fitzsimmons, 25, of Glenview, was arrested on the 200 block of Elm Street for a Cook County Probation Violation Warrant, according to police. He was also charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Cannabis, police say.
