Glenview Police Join Federal DEA in National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day
The free, convenient prescription collection is slated for the end of next week.

GLENVIEW, IL - Are expired or unused prescription drugs cluttering your medicine cabinets and bathrooms? If you’re looking to unload unwanted prescription pills safely, you’re in luck.
In conjunction with U.S. Department of Justice and Drug Enforcement Agency's National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day on April 29, the Glenview Police Department will be accepting unneeded medications. The collection is free, anonymous and fast — so much so that residents can access a drive-through service.
"Dropping off unwanted medications rather than flushing them down the toiler or throwing them in the trash can prevent pill abuse, theft, accidental poisoning and overdosing," said Glenview officials, in a community alert.
