Memory Care Residents Encourage Animal Adoption In Glenview

GLENVIEW, IL — Emerald Place, an assisted living community in Glenview, will be helping to promote animal adoption Wednesday when they visit a local animal shelter. The residents will deliver handcrafted bandanas to encourage animal adoption at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Border Tails Rescue, 2975 Milwaukee Ave., Northbrook.

"Many of our seniors are lifelong animal lovers," said Latisha Coolidge, life engagement director for Emerald Place. "This is a wonderful way for them to reminisce about their animal babies while helping the local animal shelter. They are so excited to meet new furry friends."
