Gusto Italiano Ristorante Reopens In Glenview
The Glenview Road business had closed earlier this year due to a significant water pipe break.

GLENVIEW, IL — Following a water main break earlier this year that did some "significant" damage to the restaurant, Gusto Italiano recently reopened on Glenview Road. The Glenview Chamber of Commerce marked the special occasion with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the restaurant.
"Congratulations on the reopening of Gusto Italiano where the essence of fine Italian dining comes alive with authentic flavors, elegant ambiance, and impeccable service," the Chamber said about Gusto Italiano. "Their menu, crafted with the freshest ingredients and inspired by Italy's rich culinary traditions, offers a perfect blend of classic and contemporary dishes."
In February, pipes located above the 1834 Glenview Road business burst in the middle of the night, raining down on the restaurant for five to six hours before it was discovered. Originally slated to reopen in May, it took a bit longer to get everything in order at Gusto Italiano, which has been part of the North Shore culinary scene since 1985.
