State Rep. Fine Tours Disability Facility

State Rep. Laura Fine (D-Glenview) recently joined other lawmakers on a tour of Misericordia’s Chicago facilities, according to a press release. As part of the tour, Fine learned about the work Misericordia does to help the developmentally disabled and their families.

Lawmakers were also briefed on how state budget cuts are impacting the organization. Fine serves on the Human Services Committee in the House of Representatives and seeks fiscally responsible measures that reduce wasteful spending while preserving vital services for Illinois residents.
