Glenview Stabbing Suspect Could Receive Electronic Monitoring

Mitchell S. Silverstein, the Glenview teenager recently charged with attempted first degree murder after stabbing another teen in the chest appeared in Cook County court on Tuesday where the conditions of his $300,000 bond were reviewed by Judge Marcia Orr.

Silverstein had not posted bail and was still in custody at the time of his court appearance. Previous bond conditions kept him from owning a dangerous weapon, but Orr added electronic monitoring in the event Silverstein posts bail.
