Woman Threatens Resident in McDonald's Drive-Through Lane

Threats in the Drive-Through Lane

A resident was cut off Dec. 2 by another vehicle and threatened in the drive-through lane at McDonalds, 530 Waukegan Road.

The driver of the other vehicle—a female white in her 30s, 5’ 5” to 5’ 8” tall, about 175 lbs., with blonde hair in a ponytail—yelled profanities at the resident before getting out of her car to take a photo of the resident’s license plate. The woman then threatened to find where the resident lives and beat the resident up.

Security footage verified the resident’s statement of the incident.

2 Computers Taken in Burglary

Two computers, money and jewelry box key were reported stolen after a break-in between 8 a.m. and 8:20 p.m. Dec. 3, in the 1700 block of Executive Lane.

The resident told police that a rear basement door had been forced open and several rooms of the house had been ransacked. The total loss of items is estimated at more than $2,000.

Attempt Residential Burglary

A resident of the 4700 block of Locust Avenue reported Dec. 5 reported seeing two men try to break in to her home.

According to the resident, someone shook the door handle at the house’s east door. When she walked in the living room, she saw a man take down the exterior screen and crawl half into the room through an unlocked window.

The resident described the man as a white teen, black hair, wide round face, 5’01” -5’03”, wearing an open dark or grey jacket or sweater. She said she observed a second man but could not not see his face. She did describe him as tall and thin.

Silverware, Jewery Stolen

Two rings, 45 pieces of silverware, a gold necklace with a cross pendant and a silver-colored watch connected to a chain were reported stolen Dec. 7 from a house in the 2400 block of Covert Road. The items were believed taken sometime between Nov 9-28, and the estimated cost of the items is $5000.

2 Shotguns, Booze Stolen

Two shotguns and six bottles of liquor were reported stolen Dec. 7 from a house in the the 1400 block of Tuscany Court. The resident said the items were taken sometime between 10 a.m. Nov. 2 and 9 a.m. Nov. 5, and the estimated cost is $6200.

Phone Stolen

An iPhone 5C was stolen Dec. 8 from a complainant from the 2700 block of Beacon Street, Chicago, while she washed her face at LA Fitness, 3880 Willow Road. The phone is estimated at $400.
