2 Hurt In Fire At Gages Lake Apartment Complex
Five people were also impacted due to the damage at two of the apartments.
GRAYSLAKE, IL — Two people were injured in a Monday morning apartment complex fire in the 33600 block of Evergreen Drive in Gages Lake, according to Grayslake Fire Protection District officials. At 1:22 a.m., Grayslake Fire Protection District crews were called to the complex, and when they arrived they quickly extinguished a fire in the lower level garage area of the two-story, six-unit apartment complex.
According to Grayslake Fire officials, one person was taken to Advocate Condell Hospital in Libertyville and the other was treated and released on site at the complex.
The cause of the fire is being investigating, and there is no estimate yet on the amount of damage, according to Grayslake Fire officials.

Two of the apartments were deemed unlivable, impacting five people.
Grayslake Fire was assisted by Gurnee, Fox Lake, Round Lake, Newport and Countryside fire departments crews.
